Impatiens glandulifera (Balsaminaceae)

Flowers develop at varying times. They are often seen together with ripening seeds as in this image. The colour depth can vary from pale to deep pink.
The hollow stem is succulent and red and snaps easily.
Leaves are often tinged red, especially along the edge and main arteries.
